Over 30 years experience in a top consulting firm advising global companies across wide range of operational and strategic issues,  with a focus on healthcare, digital transformation and developing Software As A Service (SAAS) businesses
  • Board Level Experience: Advising and influencing CXOs and Boards of global companies during periods of growth, transformation, restructuring and new business development
  • Working with Investors: Opportunity scanning, due-diligence, mergers and portfolio growth for PE and Trade investments.  
  • Technology and Digital Expertise: Unusually broad experience, from designing new technology businesses, B2B pricing and sales strategy, technology uptake and digital transformation, application and technical architecture and agile development
  • Deep Healthcare experience: Working across the healthcare ecosystem with governments,  providers, bio-pharma and med-tech on new product launch, “beyond the pill” technology solutions, commercial strategy, digital marketing, and influencing healthcare policy
  • Building partnerships:  Defining partnering strategies, negotiating commercial terms, and leading successful commercial and cross-industry partnerships
  • Coaching business leaders: Coaching senior business leaders across a wide range of organisations, from multinationals to startups and early stage companies, including through Techstars mentoring program

Non-executive director, remuneration committee chair and investment analyst with over 30 years’ experience in equity research and investor relations and deep understanding of shareholder expectations and board governance:
  • FTSE 100 Board experience: Non-executive director of  Entain/GVC June 2017 - Dec 2020 - a period of high growth, M&A, regulatory change and market disruptions (including the launch of a new US digital JV which grew revenues to over $175m in less than two years).
  • Remuneration Expertise: A very active role as remuneration committee chair at Entain/ GVC as the business grew and evolved. Non-executive director of the Remuneration Consultants Group since January 2021. 
  • City experience and financial skills: equity research analyst at Edison Group (the UK’s leading independent research company) and, previously, 12 years at BZW (a leading stockbroker/investment bank).Understanding of corporate finance, IPOs and equity and debt financing; business models and investment strategies.
  • Sector knowledge: Deep knowledge of gaming, leisure and entertainment and additional  experience in a wide range of technology, media and industrial businesses.
  • Investor relations and communication skills: Director of IR at Rank Group and Carlton Communications, both then FTSE 100 companies (1993-8).
